All-New Ram 1500 Surpasses Sales Expectations

AThe 2019 Ram 1500 was completely redesigned for the new model year, and we’re excited to offer it here at Weimer CDJR. After taking driver feedback into account and creating a more functional, capable pickup truck, the all-new Ram 1500 did something no Ram has done before — it surpassed one of its rivals in sales numbers.

For a long time, there has been a clear “big three” in the pickup truck industry — the Ford F-150, the Chevrolet Silverado 1500, and the Ram 1500, in that order. For the first time ever, in the initial sales quarter of 2019, the Ram 1500 knocked the Silverado out of the No. 2 spot. Ram has been gaining ground for a while now — Silverado sales stayed about the same last year, while Ram’s truck sales went up 7 percent to 537,000 units sold.

If you include all the sales numbers under the General Motors umbrella, GM still surpasses Ram in overall truck sales due to the boost from both the Silverado and the Sierra family of trucks. Plus, if the new Ram 1500 has its eyes on the throne, it will have to surpass Ford’s massive sales number of 900,000 F-150 trucks sold last year.

However, if trends continue the way they’re going, with the all-new Ram 1500 continuing to climb the charts while rivals stay around the same, Ford may have to rethink its outlook.

2019 Chrysler Pacifica Honors Minivan History

Fiat Chrysler dominated the minivan segment in 2018, capturing more than half the market share. Since bringing the first minivan to the market in 1984, Fiat Chrysler has continued to innovate each and every year. In honor of the segment’s 35th anniversary, a 2019 Chrysler Pacifica special edition is coming to dealer showrooms.

The 35th Anniversary Edition 2019 Chrysler Pacifica made its debut at the Chicago Auto Show alongside the Dodge Grand Caravan. The special edition package is available on the Touring L, Touring Plus, and Limited trim levels.

The 2019 Chrysler Pacifica special edition features unique 35th anniversary badging and liquid chrome Chrysler wing badges. Gloss black trim on the front fascia and rear liftgate create a premium look.

Inside, the Pacifica special edition features a black interior with Cranberry Wine accent stitching on the seats and steering wheel. Leather upholstery adds luxurious atmosphere to the cabin. The floor mats will feature 35th Anniversary logos.

Drivers can add sporty flair to their 2019 Chrysler Pacifica special edition with the available S Appearance package. A black grille, headlight accents, badging, and wheels add a more athletic spin to the family minivan.

The 2019 Chrysler Pacifica special edition will arrive in dealership showrooms this summer — including here at Weimer CDJR. Pricing isn’t available yet, but experts aren’t expecting to see a major increase compared to the regular trim levels.
